EGF Serum

EGF Serum is a topical skincare product that contains epidermal growth factor (EGF), a protein that helps to stimulate cell growth and repair the skin.  It is used to improve the overall health and appearance of the skin, and can help to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.

Our EGF is bioengineered from barley.

Chemically speaking, growth factors are medium-length amino acid sequences (EGF consists of 53 amino acids).  Biologically speaking, Growth Factors are cellular signal molecules that can stimulate cell growth, proliferation, healing and/or differentiation.

This is an excellent serum to use after chemical peels, micro needling and other cosmetic procedures.

Our formula also contains the following, in addition to EGF:

• Niacinamide - Known as Vitamin B3 and nicotinamide acid, niacinamide is a powerful cell-communicating ingredient. It offers multiple benefits for aging skin. Niacinamide improves skin elasticity, enhances its barrier function, helps to erase discolorations, and revives the tone and texture to more healthy, rejuvenated skin. CAUTIONS:
Do not use EGFs on any area with known skin cancer.  While EGFs are not mutugenic (meaning they do not cause skin cancer), the are mitogenic, which means they will promote cell proliferation. Thus, using it on cancerous areas could cause it to spread.
The same holds true if you have psoriasis. Never use an EGF product on areas with psoriasis.

Directions For Use:  Apply to clean, dry or damp skin on face, neck, chest and hands and gently massage. It will absorb quickly to give your skin a beautiful glow. Continued use will nourish your skin and promote a more youthful appearance. Use once or twice daily.

Ingredients: Distilled water, chondrus crispus (carrageenans), glycerin, niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, sh-oligopeptide-1 (EGF), hydrolyzed collagen, sodium PCA, hydrolyzed elastin, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexlglycerin.
