EGF Serum is a topical skincare product that contains epidermal growth factor (EGF), a protein that helps to stimulate cell growth and repair the skin.  It is used to improve the overall health and appearance of the skin, and can help to reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and other signs of aging.

Our EGF is bioengineered from barley.

Chemically speaking, growth factors are medium-length amino acid sequences (EGF consists of 53 amino acids).  Biologically speaking, Growth Factors are cellular signal molecules that can stimulate cell growth, proliferation, healing, and/or differentiation.

CAUTIONS:

Do not use EGFs on any area with known skin cancer.  While EGFs are not mutagenic (meaning they do not cause skin cancer), they are mitogenic, which means they will promote cell proliferation. Thus, using it on cancerous areas could cause it to spread.
The same holds true if you have psoriasis. Never use an EGF product on areas with psoriasis.
